The central white 'dot' inside the touch-ring serves as a finger rest, ensuring cursor movement remains stationary upon contact. When the user moves their finger onto the touch-ring, the cursor follows the direction indicated by the finger's position on the ring. For instance, touching the grey ring at the 2 o'clock position moves the cursor to the top right corner of the screen. Cursor movement persists until the finger is removed or returned to the central white dot.

Conveniently located concentric touch-sensitive buttons facilitate left click, right click, double-click, and drag functions, which can be substituted with external switches if preferred.
